The Los Angeles Clippers have had a pretty successful season to this point as they are currently 44-25 and in fourth place in the Western Conference. It’s been a good year, but this team knows that nothing matters unless they find success in the playoffs. With just a few weeks to go in the regular season, James Harden knows that the time is now to get a spark.

Los Angeles had lost four of five games before picking up a couple much-needed wins over the Portland Trailblazers. Now is the time to get hot as the postseason is right around the corner, and James Harden thinks that the team needs some excitement.

“Got to bring some excitement to the team,” Harden said, according to an article from ESPN. “I think these last few weeks have been a fog for us, and I think every team goes through it. So I think it is just me trying to create a great energy, create a great vibe for this team. I mean, it would have been better if he would have made the shot. Just give something to laugh about, some excitement for the season.”

We’ll see what kind of excitement the Clippers can find in the next few weeks. One thing that could help is the return of Russell Wilson, who is supposed to be back on the floor soon.

The Clippers have just eight games remaining in the regular season and there is a chance that their seeding could drop if they don’t finish strong. LA definitely doesn’t want that to happen.
