Jaylen Brown helped lead the Boston Celtics to their 18th title in franchise history in 2023-24. He was able to win both the Eastern Conference Finals MVP and NBA Finals MVP awards. The three-time All-Star will be able to enjoy his summer after notably being left off of the the 2024 Olympics roster.

Brown was recently asked who he believes will win the WNBA Rookie of the Year award. Speaking to House of Highlights, he picked Angel Reese, stating:

Right now, I think Angel Reese.

Three other players were also asked to weigh in on the WNBA Rookie of the Year race. Luka Garza, who played his college basketball for the Iowa Hawkeyes, praised Reese while picking Caitlin Clark, who is also a Hawkeye alumni. Immanuel Quickley wasted no time choosing the former LSU Tigers star. Meanwhile, Josh Okogie took the easy route by choosing both rookie stars.

Reese has averaged 13.5 points, 11.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.4 blocks in 31.7 minutes per game while shooting 40.2% from the field and 76.0% from the free-throw line. Clark, meanwhile, has averaged 17.1 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 8.2 apg, 1.5 spg and 0.8 bpg in 35.2 mpg while shooting 40.% from the field, 32.7% from three-point range and 89.1% from the free-throw line. She has struggled taking care of the ball, however, averaging 5.6 turnovers per game.

Jaylen Brown recently shared his all-time starting five, with several notable omissions. Speaking to House of Highlights, the Boston Celtics star was asked for his list, stating:

LeBron at the one. No, LeBron at the four. Steph at the one. Kobe. KD. I’m going to go Shaq. I don’t know. I’m a – I want to be able to get up and down. I might go like Bill Russell. It’s a different game now. Bill Russell, KD, LeBron, Kobe, Steph.

While all-time lists are subjective, the omissions of Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Magic Johnson stand out. Brown was not asked to explain his picks, however, the three stars are generally considered consensus top-five players of all-time.
