The New York Liberty are officially headed to the WNBA Finals after clinching their series against the Las Vegas Aces in a thrilling contest. Powered by standout performances from Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart, the Liberty’s dynamic duo proved too much for the Aces to handle.

Ionescu followed up one of her worst games ever with an outstanding outing, showcasing her clutch shooting and court vision. Breanna Stewart added another chapter to her First Team All WNBA season with dominant play on both ends of the floor. Together, they delivered a near-flawless performance that now has the Liberty fans dreaming of their first ever WNBA title.

Game 5 Showdown Awaits Between Lynx and Sun

The Liberty’s opponent, however, is still to be determined, as the decisive Game 5 between the Minnesota Lynx and the Connecticut Sun looms large. The Sun took Game 4 with a 92-82 victory, thanks to a huge second-half surge led by Tyasha Harris, DeWanna Bonner, and Alyssa Thomas. Their trio came alive when it mattered most, swinging the momentum in Connecticut’s favor as they fought off elimination.

Napheesa Collier’s Heroics Not Enough for Lynx in Game 4

Despite a monster effort from Lynx star Napheesa Collier—who racked up an impressive 29 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists—Minnesota fell short of closing out the series. Collier’s dominance kept the Lynx within striking distance, but the Sun’s balanced attack and late-game execution ultimately proved too much.

Now, all eyes turn to the decisive Game 5. The two teams will return to Minnesota for a winner-takes-all showdown on Tuesday night at 5 p.m. ET, broadcast live on ESPN2. The stakes couldn’t be higher, as the winner will move on to face the Liberty in what promises to be a highly anticipated WNBA Finals.
