Stephon Castle dominates in NCAA Tournament debut

The future 1st round pick was very comfortable in UConn’s win over Stetson.

In a solid display of teamwork, the University of Connecticut (UConn) Huskies secured a convincing win against Stetson University in the Round of 64 of the NCAA tournament, winning 91-52. Former 9th ranked recruit, Stephon Castle, made significant contributions. Now, as UConn gears up to face Northwestern in a bid for a spot in the Sweet 16, let’s take a closer look at Castle’s performance and the team’s effort.

Stephon Castle was able to score 14 points on 6-11 shooting from the floor, pulling down five rebounds. On the defensive end, he was able to stimy the Stetson offense, helping the Huskies hold Stetson to 30.9% shooting and turn the ball over 14 times.
