The Wisconsin Badgers season came to a close after the devasting loss to James Madison. The Round of 64 game was deemed one of the tougher matchups in the tournament. After the game was over, a lot of questions needed to be answered. One of those questions surrounded star guard AJ Storr.

AJ Storr Makes His Announcement

AJ Storr, the 6’7″ sophomore guard from Wisconsin, has officially announced his decision to enter the NBA Draft while keeping the possibility of returning to college on the table. During his sophomore campaign, Storr demonstrated his scoring prowess by averaging 16.8 points, along with grabbing 3.8 rebounds per game. His shooting efficiency was notable, maintaining a 43% shooting accuracy throughout the season. Such performances didn’t go unnoticed, as he earned recognition from both the media and coaches, being voted as a 2nd Team All-Big Ten player.

AJ Storr’s College Path

Storr’s journey to Wisconsin wasn’t direct, as he transferred in after spending his freshman year at St. John’s. Nevertheless, his impact was immediate, and he quickly made a name for himself in the Big Ten conference. His freshman year at St. John’s was also remarkable, as he was named to the Big East All-Freshman team, indicating his consistent excellence on the court.

By declaring for the NBA Draft, Storr is taking the next step towards pursuing a professional basketball career. However, his decision to leave the option open for a potential return to college shows his thoughtful approach. This flexibility provides him with the opportunity to weigh his options carefully and make the best decision for his career development.

Storr’s combination of size, skill, and versatility makes him an intriguing prospect for NBA teams. His ability to score, rebound, and contribute on both ends of the floor adds value to any roster. As he prepares for the NBA Draft, scouts and analysts will undoubtedly keep a close eye on his progress and potential. Whether Storr ultimately decides to remain in the draft or return to college, his talent is undeniable. As the NBA Draft approaches, all eyes will be on AJ Storr and his future in the world of basketball.
